Internal Consistency Measures
Your data is only as good as the instruments you use to record it. By spotting inconsistencies and outliers, you can gain valuable insights and validate the integrity of the instruments you're using. We offer analytics to measure consistencies within our instruments and/or our system can import 3rd party validated instruments.
Instrument Comparison Measures
By examining key variables, we're able to compare different instruments to each other and provide details on which are the most effective. All instruments have their own benefits and shortcomings, make sure you're getting the benefits you care about most. Our validation module can test any instrument against an existing reference tool or benchmark. Not only can we validate our own instruments, but our system can validate your instruments or 3rd party tools.
External Agreement Measures
The next layer of transparency comes from comparing data captured from patients to that of reliable external data sources. In doing so, we're able to authenticate and further substantiate the patient reported data. External comparison could be pulled from an EMR or enhanced by claims data. With the EmpiraMed Respondent Score, we give you one aggregate value to quickly provide the insights you're looking for in your data. Built on the strong foundation of our Internal Consistency Measures, Instrument Comparison Measures, and External Agreement Measures - the EmpiraMed Respondent Score is generated from a proprietary algorithm to give you a single balanced measure of the accuracy and integrity of both the patient record and the entire database.
